In this role, you are an integral part of maintaining quality patient care by establishing patient accounts while complying with HIPAA regulations. You will be responsible for performing intake functions for our virtual patients, including:
- Accepting appointment requests
- Facilitating patient registration
- Insurance verification
- Payment collection
- Connecting patients to our providers.
This individual will also perform limited billing functions including validating charges and preparing invoices for submission to insurance carriers.
*Must be willing to work 13-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physician, Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistant Opportunities
In this role, you will provide friendly and empathetic care to Chesapeake Telemedicine patients and ensure proper data management and record keeping in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
Your responsibilities will include conducting telemedicine exams and assessments with patients via HIPAA-compliant, audio, and visual technology to provide remote medical care and advice.
Candidates must be board-certified, and have an active medical license in good standing in the state of Maryland as well as an active DEA and CDS.
