Chesapeake Telemedicine is Telemedicine Made Easy—you can make an appointment that works best for your busy schedule. We also participate with many insurances and offer affordable Self-Pay options. 

NO. Since Chesapeake Telemedicine is a Mid-Atlantic based provider, we are focused on providing exceptional telemedicine services ONLY to patients in that area (PA, DE, MD, DC & VA). If you are located outside of this area, please seek care with another provider.

Chesapeake Telemedicine was founded by physicians with over 75+ years of combined experience in emergency rooms and urgent care centers. We believe providers with similar medical experience are best suited to treat a variety of medical conditions. That is why our network of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants all have many years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or primary care. You can rest easy knowing we will provide the best care possible for you and your family.

Yes! Chesapeake Telemedicine is dedicated to protecting your privacy and personal health information. Our staff are trained to stringently follow HIPAA Privacy Laws.

We have partnered with AdvancedMD to make it easy to create a patient account through a secure patient portal. Here are the steps to create your secure account:

 

  • Go to the Chesapeake Telemedicine Homepage.
  • Click on “Existing Patient Sign In”.
  • Fill in your details to log in and schedule an appointment.

Copies of your medical records, discharge instructions, receipts and itemized billing summaries can be found on your patient portal. To create a patient portal, click “Existing Patient Sign In” from the Homepage.

Services

If you are older than 2 years of age, Chesapeake Telemedicine offers care for many common Conditions. Telemedicine has its limitations. It is intended to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of very minor ailments. Go to the Emergency Room if your symptoms include:

 

  • Chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • Weakness/numbness on one side
  • Slurred speech
  • Fainting/change in mental state
  • Serious burns
  • Head or eye injury
  • Concussion/confusion
  • Broken bones and dislocated joints
  • Fever with a rash
  • Seizures
  • Severe cuts that may require stitches
  • Facial lacerations
  • Severe cold or flu symptoms
  • Vaginal bleeding with pregnancy

Making an appointment that is convenient for you and your family is easy. There are 2 options:

 

  1. From the Conditions We Treat page, choose from the list of ailments the issue you would like our provider to evaluate. From there you will be able to register as a patient and select the appointment time you desire.
  2. Go to Schedule an Appointmentand select your condition, complete registration paperwork, and schedule an appointment.

Yes! Chesapeake Telemedicine providers can treat many Conditions that once required you to visit to the doctor’s office. If your diagnosis requires a prescription, we will send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

Payment Options

Yes! We accept medical Insurance from many insurers. If you do not see your insurance company in our list, please reach out to your insurance company about having Chesapeake Telemedicine join its network. If we do not accept your insurance or if you do not currently have insurance, we offer a self-pay option for $75.

We require all co-pays, self-pay payments and past due bills be paid prior to evaluation. Chesapeake Telemedicine may also require a card on file to be credited for any amount deemed “member responsibility” by your insurance.
